LINCO Vacuum Transport technology can be an interesting alternative to move product in poultry and meat plants over long distances. Often excess production in one area will need to be transported to a place where additional capacity is available. When it is not convenient to use conveyors, vacuum transport technology can be an interesting alternative. We recently commissioned a system which transports food grade chicken portions over a distance of 100 metres.

We recently commissioned a REDOX Effluent Water Treatment System at a poultry abattoir. The unique design of this system combines a non-chemical pre-treatment of the effluent water with a chemical after-treatment. The pre-treatment removes most of the fats from the water and reduces the COD loading on the chemical treatment, thereby saving chemical costs. REDOX are a world leader in effluent water treatment technology and can also offer biological and anaerobic systems to meet the needs of the application.

Typical poultry raw materials are deboned carcasses, downgrade portions, necks and waste from low pressure meat recovery systems.
