DAS Food Systems was founded in 1991 to supply and service specialist food processing equipment, drawing on years of experience in the industry. Today we represent leading manufacturers of equipment and ingredients to complement our experience, enabling us to provide total solutions or single machines and products.

Our principals all have a solid commitment to quality, based on a sound knowledge of the processes and trends in world markets. This applies in machine manufacture, computer systems and producing functional ingredients. Together with our knowledge of your requirements and conditions in Southern Africa, we are able to provide a complete service including backup support. We strive to use this to develop a partnership with our customers, giving them access to the latest technologies in line with standards anywhere in the world.

Research and development form the backbone of future innovation. Our Principals all invest heavily in active research and development programs . The partnership approach enables us to present our customers needs for inclusion in developments, giving early access to the new solutions.

The list of products and technologies we can provide will grow as new ideas come to the market and these are accepted in our country. Our move into larger premises in Montague Gardens, Cape Town gave us the space and infrastructure we required for exciting expansion plans. And in 2006, we established a service branch in Gauteng allowing us to improve on our service delivery and spare part supply for customers in the Gauteng and surrounding areas.

We recently completed our BBBEE rating and were rated as a Level Four contributor (100% compliant). We continue to strive for improvement in aspects of our business which affect our rating.

DAS Food Systems is proudly associated with various charities, namely St Luke’s Hospice, NSRI and Blind SA which we donate to regularly throughout the year. We are also connected to the Lutheran Community Centre in Philipi, Western Cape where we sponsor a hospital bed at the iThemba Labantu Care Centre, a care centre for HIV/AIDS.
